![]() So, I did this today! I stopped by Thrillsville Adventure Park in Slade. They offer aerial adventures and the newest underground adventure. My intention was to schedule a kayak cave tour but a group was about to go and they had room, why not. I signed a waiver and joined a group of 10. I was introduced to our guide and families got in their own vehicles and followed the guide's truck to the cave site. Everyone was given a life jacket and helmet with a headlamp. I cannot stress enough how professional and helpful the tour guides were to every individual. They packed the kayaks down to the water and helped everyone on. My toe never tipped the water (I wish getting in and out of kayaks was always this easy). The cave was cool so I suggest wearing a jacket. The water was so crystal clear I wish I would have brought a bright flashlight to see more in the darkest parts of the cave, and a camera! Not only was this educational but very relaxing. At one point we all turned off our headlamps to experience complete darkness. And this is where I'm going to leave you. This is an experience that one must do to understand. The tour is an hour long and usually cost 49.99 but Thrillsville has a 39.99 special right now.

Hello Sandra, If you bring your own kayak then you will receive a $10.00 discount on the tour price. Normal tour price is $45.00 and this price may change depending on the seasons. Also the tour schedule is everyday 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Hope you have a wonderful trip. I have went though the Underground 3 times and absolutely loved it every time!

Hi! I have a Question. We travel between Ohio and NC and would love to do this sometime in the future however, our concern is we travel with our 60lb dog. Would it be possible to have him ride along in the same kayak with us if there is one with a large enough cockpit? He is a well seasoned kayak dog and has his own life jacket, towels, and nonslip mat we could bring for him. If not, is there a safe, supervised place (not locked in our car) he could stay while we go on a tour? Thanks.
